The practice: We have two locations for your convience, Tamworth and Atherstone. Both locations are tier 2 RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited small animal practices. In addition we are also a registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice Riversmeet Veterinary Centre has been established in Tamworth for over 100 years and has been at it's current locaton on Lichfield Street since 1923. It is the largest practice in the town offering the choice of 7 vets who together provide a wide range of veterinary skills to care for your pet. The practice has been inspected and approved by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association. The Tamworh surgery is open seven days a week. The Atherstone surgery is located in the old railway station which is a beautiful grade 2 listed building dating from 1847 (see photo at top of page). Inside, the refurbished modern interior offers a spacious and comfortable environment for treating all your pets. Both surgeries have private client parking and offer an extensive range of clinical services and products at competitive prices. We treat all species of domestic pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. We are a forward thinking surgery providing many up to date services to our clients. Modern facilities and equipment allow us to provide the best care to our patients. Our objective is to provide this while keeping a caring attitude towards both the patient and owner. We are proud to provide our own local 24 hour emergency service. This means that our clients do not have to travel out of the area to a distant and expensive emergency clinic when urgent care is most needed. All consultations by appointment.
